Government Censorship Strikes Again: Help Support New Johnny the Walrus Case

Rod Theis, a licensed clinical social worker in Oregon, believes all children should embrace and love themselves as God made them. He was inspired by the message of hope for children conveyed in a handful of books that he displayed on his desk.

These books included He is He and She is She by Ryan and Bethany Bomberger, and Matt Walsh’s Johnny the Walrus.

However, a fellow employee saw the covers of the books and complained, leading officials to warn Rod that if he displayed the books or similar messages again, he could face discipline, including losing his job.

Government censorship strikes again.

That’s why we’re defending him in a new lawsuit—and we need your help.

When you give today, you’ll not only be supporting Rod’s case, but providing the resources that allow our legal team to take on additional big cases that safeguard our fundamental freedoms.
